Q: What exactly does an unpacking service include?
Our unpacking service includes opening boxes, carefully removing your belongings, placing items where you direct us to, removing and collecting all packing materials, and breaking down empty boxes. We follow your instructions throughout the entire process so everything ends up exactly where you want it.
Q: Do I have to be present during the unpacking?
We recommend being present so you can direct us on where you want things placed. Since placement decisions are yours to make, having you available makes the process faster and ensures everything ends up where you want it.
Q: How many hours of unpacking will I need?
This depends on the size of your home and how many boxes need to be unpacked. A one or two bedroom home typically takes a few hours. A larger home with more rooms and boxes may take longer. When you get in touch, we can discuss your situation and help you estimate the time needed.
Q: Can I book unpacking services without using Levi’s for the move itself?
Yes. Our unpacking services can be booked as a standalone service, even if another company handled your move. As long as your belongings are in your new home, we can come in and help you get unpacked.
Q: Can unpacking be done on a different day from the move?
Absolutely. Many customers prefer to book unpacking for a separate day once they have had a chance to settle in and decide where they want things to go. We work Monday through Saturday, 8:00AM to 8:00PM, to fit around your schedule.
Q: Do you bring any supplies for unpacking?
Our team brings what they need to handle and place your belongings carefully. We do not bring additional packing materials for unpacking jobs, as the items are already in your home. We do collect and break down the boxes and packing materials we remove during the process.
Q: How are charges calculated for unpacking services?
Unpacking services are based on the time and crew required for your job. Final charges depend on the actual hours worked and the scope of the job. We provide a clear estimate before any work begins so you know what to expect.
